I was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1954 and developed an interest in all types of music: rock, jazz, country, bluegrass, classical, and blues. At the early age of ten I heard the guitar on T.V. and saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. At around the same time, my Grandmother bought me my first acoustic guitar. Shortly after, I moved to Commack, Long Island where I had my first guitar lesson from a woman that made sure I learned how to read music first and do tricks last.

In 1971 I moved to New Jersey, where I spent more time learning guitar and discovered for myself music legends such as Chet Atkins, Peter Green, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Between 1973-'75 I moved to San Clemente, California, and played some coffee houses and restaurants while studying jazz guitar under Ron Escheté, at Saddleback College.

Throughout my travels, I’ve worked with Milan Williams of the Commodores, security and guitar, tech with Prince, Time, and the Gap Band. I now reside in San Francisco, California where I compose songs, play at Ti Piacera Restaurant, and am available for private
lessons.
